Although the name sounds very big, USMortgage is a hands-on family company. John and Lee Tabor started the the company in 1997.

We take great pride in continuing education, quality service, and integrity. Lee is a Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist.

There's no question, that Lee is the Expert! She has two designations - GRML and CRMS. The first is a Graduate of the Residential Mortgage Lending School. The second is the Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist. This level is the second highest certification of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Lee has experience in a full spectrum of the financial world, from managing First Union Branch Banks to representing wholesale lenders, to consulting to mortgage companies.

John coordinates the marketing efforts, which include business development, corporate image, and other facets of marketing. He also takes care of the office logistics, computers, etc.

John is an Architect by training, and was formerly president of a Charlotte Architectural firm. He has worked on many of Charlotte's distinctive projects, like the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. He is also active in numerous civic and leadership activities.

Shannon is our "top-notch" Sales Assistant. With three years experience in the Mortgage Industry, she excels at processing loan packages.
